Andy Mitchell's Bio
Andy Mitchell is part of the 3rd generation of leadership for G. W. Mitchell Construction. A native of San Antonio, Andy earned a BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Beginning his career in 1985 at Peat Marwick Mitchell, (now KPMG), Andy moved from public to private accounting for a worldwide manufacturing company, as a Financial Officer and joined the G.W. Mitchell team in 1995 as Chief Financial Officer. Andy participates in the Construction Financial Management Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is active at Christ Episcopal Church, having served on the Vestry, CEC Endowment, and Ellison Scholarship Committee.
Andy enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as playing golf and fishing on the Texas coast. He and his wife, Leah, have one daughter who received her Masters degree from Texas A&M University, is married and working in banking in Houston, as well as a son who also graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science and is working for a national construction firm in Austin.
Lane Mitchell's Bio
Lane Mitchell, the oldest and most tenured of the 3rd generation of leadership for G. W. Mitchell Construction, was born in Boston while his father, Melvin, was earning his Master’s degree from MIT. Lane was raised in San Antonio and went on to earn a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University where he also lettered in cross country and track. After starting his career in 1980 at Brown & Root (now KBG) where he spent 2 ½ years as a cost engineer on various projects around the world, Lane moved to G.W. Mitchell in 1982 and spent two years heading up a multi family specialty company in the mid eighties before becoming an officer, currently serving as Vice President. Lane is active in the Associated General Contractors (AGC) having served as the San Antonio chapter president. He is currently serving on the Texas Building Branch board and is chairman of the national IT Forum Steering committee for AGC. Lane is active at Trinity Baptist Church, serving on the Board of Trustees and singing in the church choir. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, running the roads of Alamo Heights in the morning and fishing on the Texas coast. Lane and his wife Charlotte are the parents of two daughters.
Melvin M. Mitchell's Bio
Melvin Mitchell is the 2nd generation of leadership for G. W. Mitchell Construction. Born and raised in San Antonio, he earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and went on to receive an MS in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board of G. W. Mitchell, Melvin has over 50 years of experience in general contracting having overseen $280 million in completed projects. Melvin is an active member of Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, actively participates in the Rotary Club Bowling League, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of San Antonio, Conopus Club, The 12th Man Foundation at Texas A & M University and The Association of Former Students at Texas A & M University. Melvin and his wife Yeola are the proud parents of Lane, Bill and Andy, all of whom are a vital part of the G. W. Mitchell team. They have eight grandchildren (seven Aggies and one Baylor graduate) and one great grandchild.
William Mitchell's Bio
Bill Mitchell, President of G. W. Mitchell Construction, is part of the 3rd generation of leadership for the company. Bill was born and raised in San Antonio and earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. Over the years, Bill has served the San Antonio community as President of Alamo Kiwanis, Commander of the Texas Cavaliers, King Antonio LXXXIX, Board Member of the San Antonio Chapter of the Association of General Contractors, Board Member of 100 Club of San Antonio, Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio, and Board Member of the Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation. Bill is currently President of the San Antonio Fiesta Commission and is on the Board of Directors for Mission Road Ministries. Bill and his wife, Margaret, are active members at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church and have four children, who are all Aggies, and one grandchild. Their daughter, Erin Clementson, is the Business Development Director at G. W. Mitchell. Like the most of the Mitchells, Bill enjoys gatherings with family and friends, golf, hunting and fishing in Port Aransas.

Angela Hines's Bio
Angela Hines has a degree in Construction Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio and started her career as a project engineer on the new Brooke Army Medical Center replacement hospital. She moved with one of the joint venture firms to Houston to build two more hospitals and a cast in place parking garage at Houston Intercontinental Airport, all the while advancing in her roles and responsibilities with each project. Next came a relocation for her husband’s job that took her to Honolulu. There she worked on several renovation projects such as the renovation of the Royal Hawaiian and Sheraton Waikiki Hotels, and Kaiser Hospital, in addition to ground up projects for Monsanto and others. With family a key motivator, they decided to make San Antonio home again. G. W. Mitchell Construction has provided more growth opportunities and projects including Rast Iron Works Manufacturing Facility and Corporate Office, UIW School of Golf Management, Vista Corporate Center, and Rio Bank’s new Corporate Headquarters.
Angela currently serves as a board member for the National Association of Women in Construction, is an active member of Journey Church SA, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.
Michael Neuner's Bio
Michael Neuner has a strong technical background with his degree in Engineering Management of Technology from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He has a wide range of experience in project size, for both public and private sectors, across the United States. Michael has a strong business acumen that encompasses the preconstruction and estimating process from project concept and receipt of plans to negotiation of contracts as well as overall operations. He is adept at reviewing client’s project requirements, construction documentation, client budget management, determining contractor and supplier requirements and qualifications, developing project schedules, logistics, estimates and consolidation of information for client presentations.
Michael is active at his parish of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church and involved with the Knights of Columbus. He greatly enjoys spending time with his family traveling, exploring the outdoors and staying active with family sports.

Kim Williams's Bio
Kim Williams has more than 30 years of construction experience in ground up construction, commercial interiors, historical renovations and projects requiring special attention. Born and raised in Oregon, she was first introduced to construction by her grandmother who renovated residential dilapidated properties and her grandfather who constructed roads into logging areas. Getting her start as an estimator here in San Antonio, her career took her to Los Angeles to develop office and industrial spaces. Williams returned to San Antonio in the ‘90s when construction was booming. Before joining G.W. Mitchell, she was in charge of Swinerton’s Texas Special Projects Division in Austin. There she racked up experience working with Fortune 500 companies in the e-commerce, technology, financial, insurance and hospitality industries. For Williams, customer service is paramount and she believes in integrity above all else.
When Kim isn’t managing special projects you’ll catch her with her longtime husband Phil, on the golf course or playing with her four Shih Tzu’s.

Barrett Myers's Bio
Barrett Myers has over 12 years of business development experience, in construction, growing nonprofits and expanding small businesses throughout San Antonio, the Hill Country and South Texas. Barrett grew up in Corpus Christi, TX, where he enjoyed playing sports, socializing, spending time outdoors, and volunteering in his community. His passion grew with his involvement in organizations making an impact within their community, his love for people and his goal of helping others grow their business. Barrett started his development career in the Texas Hill Country working for an emerging nonprofit, Still Water Christian Ministries, which he still supports today. His efforts would aid in exponential growth for the organization and would be a catalyst for lasting sustainability. Barrett spent the last six years in the San Antonio market with development experience for Habitat for Humanity and in growing a mechanical contracting company. Motivated by the “why,” Barrett believes in the values and mission of G. W. Mitchell Construction.
Barrett and his wife Kelsey, have a son, Remi, and two dogs, a chocolate lab and a Catahoula leopard. He enjoys anything outdoors, Manchester City football (soccer) and socializing with friends. Barrett attends and serves at Crossway Bible Church in San Antonio, has volunteered with numerous organizations including, Young Life, FCA, Youth for Christ, and co-leads a weekly men’s group called Men Laughing.

Leah Mitchell's Bio
Leah Mitchell is native of Midland, Texas with an accounting degree from Texas A&M University and a Certified Public Accountant. She has over 30 years of experience in national and local public accounting, taxation and controllership, specializing in construction and manufacturing entities. Leah believes that her role in the company is to give our clients and project management teams current and accurate financial reports on which to make well thought out management decisions. She is active in the Construction Financial Management Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Association of Certified Public Accountants. She is a participating member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Leah and her husband, Andy, have one daughter who received her Masters degree from Texas A&M University, is married and working in banking in Houston, as well as a son who also graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science, is married, and is working for a national construction firm in Austin. Leah is a health conscience foodie who also enjoys reading and shopping.
