Scope Of Work
As the Lexington Lansing Hotel underwent a transition to become Crowne Plaza, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, a renovation was completed to upgrade the facility. Christman had originally constructed the building and has done all renovations to the hotel over the years to maintain the highest quality experience for its guests.
This project included interior and exterior renovations to re-brand the hotel. It included renovation of the restaurant, concierge and reception desks, ADA guest rooms, guest room corridor, tile in the pool room, fitness room flooring and new finishes in the meeting rooms. Exterior work included new signage, landscaping and facade improvements.
To avoid disrupting hotel guests as the building remained in use, the Christman team renovated one floor at a time and completed all noisy work during the daytime hours. Through excellent communication and a well coordinated schedule, Crowne Plaza management was extremely pleased with the process and the outcome. A member of the Christman team met with the management every day to discuss the progress of the project and any challenges that the team was facing. This ensured that the staff was fully informed and involved, allowing for successful project completion and transition to a new brand.
