Scope Of Work
A leading international manufacturer and supplier of industrial process instrumentation solutions, KROHNE was looking for an ideal spot for its North American headquarters. Hoping for a turn-key solution, KROHNE approached Connolly Brothers. Working alongside German architectural firm DHP Dubbick Hiersig + Partner, Connolly was enlisted to design, permit, and build a 94,000 square-foot building which includes a 74,000 square-foot manufacturing facility with mezzanine, a 20,000 square-foot office facility, and a glass connecting bridge between these two spaces.
With its main corporate headquarters in Germany, it was important for KROHNE to have a single point of contact—and responsibility—for the project, so Connolly’s design-build approach was a perfect match. The Connolly team managed the process of conceptual development, budget modeling, construction documentation, final cost estimation, and, ultimately, building delivery.
Connolly Brothers President Jay Connolly said KROHNE’s North American corporate headquarters “will go down in history as an iconic project for our company” and added that working with the KROHNE team “demonstrated what can be done when two companies fully align with the same vision to achieve success.”
