Scope Of Work
Looking to upgrade and expand their veterinary hospital, the owners bought a 6,600sf building that previously served as a radio station. Virtually the entire building was gutted for change of use. The framers spent 2-3 days putting in blocking for exam tables, medical cabinetry, and surgery lights. The existing slab had to be trenched for plumbing drain lines throughout the building. The X-ray room was equipped with lead-lined drywall and a lead lined door and jamb.
To accommodate for their expanding business, a 1,400sf addition was constructed to house their overnight animals. The addition needed a step down floor for dog runs in four areas and trench drains were also needed for easy cleaning. The new flooring throughout the building was an epoxy flaked floor.
Once we received final occupancy, the owners moved in immediately and began seeing their patients within a week. The owners were very pleased with the finished product.
