Scope Of Work
The Studios at DFW is a state-of-the-art media facility, which serves as the new home for NBC 5, Telemundo 39, and other NBCUniversal businesses. The project consists of a 75,000 SF building housing broadcast studios for NBC 5 and Telemundo, as well as a 4,000 SF data center with nearly a half terabyte of online media storage. The building includes cutting-edge technologies supporting the 500+ video sources in the building, which are tied together with over 1.5 million feet of cable. The facility is built to become the only LEED certified media facility in DFW, and one of only a handful of such broadcast facilities in the country, pending final certification. This fast-track project was completed in just under 12 months, within budget and on schedule.
