Scope Of Work
The Student Services Building project consisted of alterations to a two-story section which were approximately 31,000 Sf of the existing College Complex and a new two-story 7,040 Sf addition. Scope of work included demolition and removal of hazardous material, a new steel frame structural system with concrete shear walls, an exterior enclosure with cladding and metal framed storefronts/curtain walls, a roofing system which had a built-up membrane over lightweight insulating concrete, an elevator, interior partitions, casework, and finishes. The building systems included mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical (lighting and infrastructure for telephone and low voltage wiring), fire alarm (integrated with the existing College system), security and telecommunications.
