Scope Of Work
In honor of a fallen officer, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department dedicates their new North Precinct to Deputy Barbara A. Pill. Placed on 2 acres of property the new 18,453 square foot facility houses a large multipurpose room, a 2,000 square foot gym including equipment and tv hook up, multiple offices, interview rooms, muster space, an armory and sally port. State-of-the-art technology is used throughout the building. Built using cast-in-place concrete, masonry block and structural steel, this building is designed to withstand wind gusts of up to 170 mph. This building and site have been designed to achieve 40 points for LEED® Certification. Pursuit of certification is the decision of the owner, the County decided not to pursue certification.
