Scope Of Work
Cocoa Fire Station No. 2 is the third station of the 3 new planned fire stations. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in mid-August 2017. Once the site was cleared, construction began. Fire Stations 2 & 3 are exact replicas of each other and are a smaller version of Fire Station 1, which is the Headquarters Station located on Dixon Blvd.
Fire Station No. 2 is located at 300 Brunson Road. Just like No. 3, the new fire station will feature 5 bunk rooms, a full-size kitchen/dining/day room, physical agility room, offices and a 2-bay engine/apparatus room.
Construction is set for completion in April of 2018.
