Spivey Industrial Contractors

Spivey Properties, Inc. was established in March of 1971.  During the first several years of operation, Spivey Properties was mainly an electrical contractor with focus in the residential market in Douglas County, Georgia.  Later, the company concentrated on development of shopping centers and small commercial projects.  John C. Spivey Jr. was the force behind the company during this time.
In 1987, J. Collis Spivey III joined the firm as President and Operations Manager.  Collis changed the direction of the company more toward commercial and industrial jobs.  Due to customer demands, the departments known as Spivey Electric and Fountain Tech were established and included under the Spivey Properties name.  Included among the client list were Coca-Cola, Edward's Baking, Crown Cork and Seal, Six Flags over Georgia, Rock Tenn, Coastal Ponds, and Kraft Foods.
The next five years of business brought continued but controlled growth for Spivey Properties.  A new office/warehouse was built to allow for the growth that accompanied the new focus and philosophy.  We obtained new, reputable clients and were still able to satisfy existing clients in order to receive repeated business.  The focus of Spivey Properties was and is still focused on improved client relations.  We solicit the business of loyal customers, not individual jobs.  
In 1994, Spivey Properties, Inc. opened the industrial department with a primary focus on the industrial and commercial needs of clients in the Atlanta area.  It wasn't long until the industrial department, Spivey Industrial Contractors, had earned a name and a reputation that was more widely known than the original name of Spivey Properties.  Ten years after the emergence of the industrial department, with the client base at an all-time high and business steadily growing, Spivey Industrial Contractors relocated to a larger warehouse at 985 White Road in Austell, Georgia.  The current company owner is Patricia Q. Spivey, who has worked with Spivey Properties since 1987.
Although our company has changed and grown a great deal over the years, our beliefs about customer relations remain the same. Our philosophy at Spivey Properties is to serve our clients and ensure that the proper attention is provided to all aspects of a project so that it will be completed successfully.  Our ultimate goal is to obtain our clients' complete satisfaction by performing our work at a competitive price with the highest quality of construction within the scheduled time restraints.  We exist to serve your company's needs
