After serving 13 years as CEO of Myers & Chapman, Bob continues to support the business as Chairman of the Board. Previously, he spent 26 years at Bovis Lend Lease. Bob now works with leadership development, strategic planning, sustainable practices and entrepreneurship. A native of Raleigh, Bob earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University where he is still actively involved in the Business and Entrepreneurship schools. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional. Bob is an active member of The Rotary Club of Charlotte. He currently serves on the boards of the Mecklenburg County Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation. He also enjoys time with family and friends as well as exercise, reading, lake fun, golf, gardening and travel. Bob and his wife, Debra, live in Mooresville, NC. They have two grown children.

A 17-year construction industry veteran, Marcus Rabun became CEO of Myers & Chapman on June 1, 2017 after starting with the company as a superintendent and a decade in roles of increasing responsibility. Previously, he spent six years with Centex Homes. A native of Matthews, GA, Marcus earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and Contracting with a minor in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. He holds NC & SC Unlimited Commercial Construction Licenses and is a LEED accredited professional. In the business community, Marcus is a member of the Charlotte Chamber Board of Advisors, the Charlotte Regional Partnership and the Hospitality and Tourism Alliance (HTA). His hobbies include outdoor activities such as hunting, camping, fishing and sporting clay shooting. He currently serves on the executive committee of Ducks Unlimited Carolinas Chapter, is a licensed General Contractor in NC, SC, VA, TN, and GA. Marcus lives in Lake Wylie with his wife, Kate and daughter, Emily.

A 23+ year construction industry veteran, Barry joined Myers & Chapman in 2018 after 21 years with international property and infrastructure group, LendLease. As VP Pre-Construction, he oversees the preconstruction team providing estimating and technical services while engaging with clients, design and subcontractor partners. Barry earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Construction and a Masters of Construction Engineering and Management from North Carolina State University. He is a LEED accredited professional and member of the NC Sustainable Energy Association (NCSEA) Born and raised in the Carolinas, Barry lives with his wife and two children in Fort Mill, SC.

A 26-year construction industry veteran, Derek joined Myers & Chapman in 2003 serving in roles of increasing responsibility over the past 15 years with the company. In his current leadership role, he oversees Operations. A resident of greater Charlotte area since 1993, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science and Management from Clemson University and a Masters of Business Administration from the McColl School of Business at Queens University. Derek holds a NC General Contractor License. In the community, he is a local board member of the American Lung Association, a member of the Waxhaw-Weddington Rotary and volunteer at Union Academy, a charter school. He enjoys, running, reading and home improvement projects. Derek and his wife, Kari, live in Wesley Chapel with their three children Hayden, Claire and Ellory.

Leigh joined Myers & Chapman in 2006. As the Controller for the company, she oversees the accounting, benefits and HR functions. She earned a BSBA in Marketing from UNC Charlotte and a Masters of Accountancy from Gardner-Webb University. In the community, she volunteers with her church, Samaritan’s Purse, A Child’s Place, Billy Graham Association and the YMCA Y Readers Program. Her hobbies include traveling and spending time with family and friends. A native of Charlotte, Leigh lives in Dallas, NC with her husband, Tripp and daughters, Harper and Hadley.

A 15-year construction industry veteran, Travis joined Myers and Chapman in 2013. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Carmel Contractors starting as an Assistant Superintendent and progressed to Sr. Project Manager. In his current leadership role, he oversees Operations with a specific focus on Industrial/Manufacturing and Retail. A native of Rock Hill, SC, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Winthrop University. Travis has a passion around educating the next generation about the Construction Industry and looks for community engagement opportunities to promote the industry. His hobbies include playing basketball, family camping and Clemson/Carolina Panther football. Travis currently lives in South Charlotte with his wife, Jennifer and three kids, Carson, Eli, and Payton. He is a member of Hope Community Presbyterian Church.

A 16-year construction industry veteran, Bo South is Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Myers & Chapman. He joined the company in 2002 and has spent his entire career rising through the ranks to his current leadership role. One of those rare Charlotte natives, Bo earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from The College of Charleston. Bo is an active member of NAIOP and CRCBR. In the community, he serves on the board of Carolina Golf Club and is a volunteer coach with the Myers Park Trinity Little League. He is a past board member of the Dowd YMCA. Bo lives in SouthPark with his wife, Danielle, and two young sons, Parker and Holder. His hobbies include fly fishing, golf, live music and cooking.

Rick has served as President of Myers & Chapman from 1996 to 2018. A 42-year industry veteran, he joined the Company in 1990. Before that, he spent 13 years with Metric Constructors. A native of Louisville, KY, Rick earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Furman University. He is a licensed General Contractor in five states: NC, SC, GA, VA, and TN. In the community, Rick is an active member of the Charlotte Uptown Rotary Club. He also serves as Treasurer of the Myers Park Homeowners Association. Rick and his wife, Beth, live in Myers Park where they are members of Myers Park United Methodist Church. They have four grown children and six grandchildren.
