Purcell Construction, Inc.

Purcell Construction was established in 1989 by Larry E. Purcell. Based in Humble, Texas, the company began operations with light commercial projects, but experience and quality work quickly helped to expand the business into multi-million-dollar projects. 

Over the years, the Purcell model has evolved heavily toward the academic area. Today, well over 90% of the firm’s business is involved with school construction and school district projects, though a substantial portion of the business is still involved with commercial activity; churches, civic structures and large chain grocery facilities. 

A recap reveals Purcell has completed projects in 27 different school districts in the Houston area, involving more than 400 school projects. Budgets have totaled more than $400 million. Construction Management projects total more than $84 million.
