Andy Sprague's Bio
In his role for Abbott Construction as Project Executive, Andy is responsible for leading teams in the execution of regional and national commercial construction projects while delivering an exceptional experience to clients, business partners, and employees. With a keen awareness for client goals and expectations, Andy manages project teams to ensure that each client’s needs are specifically met and that every project is a success.
With a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and a broad range of project involvement along the Pacific Coast, Andy maintains a strong foundation in construction excellence. Throughout his 20-plus years with Abbott, Andy has gained diverse project experience, specializing in grocery, restaurant, and retail construction. He has had the opportunity to work with clients such as JOEY Restaurants, Din Tai Fung, Total Wine, Albertsons, Safeway, Costco, Kroger, Whole Foods Market, and Town & Country Market, with a focused expertise in high-end grocery.
Outside of the office, Andy is an avid cyclist and enjoys organized ride events such as the Seattle-to-Portland. He also enjoys a wide array of adventurous outdoor activities with his wife and two daughters.
Doug Klein's Bio
Since joining Abbott in 2003, Doug has been a key player in many of the company’s ongoing business development, operations, growth, and performance efforts. An ardent champion of Abbott’s core values, he empowers teams to incorporate our guiding principles throughout their day-to-day activities. With a construction career that spans over three decades, Doug frequently shares his wealth of knowledge and perspective at various industry speaking engagements. He is also committed to supporting local communities—from implementing Abbott’s Safety for a Cause program to allocating resources to assist many charitable causes such as Food Lifeline and the Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation. Doug received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Business Administration from the University of Washington.
Matthew Reel's Bio
Matthew’s experience leading Southern California construction covers a wide range of sectors, complexities, and disciplines. Examples include complex commercial, university, life sciences, and OSHPD hospital construction in both public and private sectors. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Matthew provides leadership on sustainable construction insight and solutions. Matthew is also a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Legislative Committee, as well as the governing committee for Abbott’s Corporate Safety Leadership Board. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue University, an Associate Constructor Certification from the American Institute of Contractors, and is currently obtaining a Masters of Science in Legal Studies at Cornell University.
Troy Stedman's Bio
Troy is an energetic visionary and dynamic leader who maintains a keen focus on Abbott’s overall business plan and growth strategy. He is an articulate communicator with an innate ability to listen and build consensus among differing points of views which allows him to cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and peers. Leading by example, Troy is actively involved in several community organizations including Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Washington Government Affairs Council, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Foundation, NAVOS, and EarthGen (formerly Washington Green Schools). He is also the incoming Board Chair for the Puget Sound Division of the American Heart Association. Troy received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Washington.

Brannon Shalley's Bio
As Abbott Construction’s Director of Pre-Construction, Brannon leads the pre-construction team and facilitates collaboration between project teams to coordinate the best solution for each owner. In order to provide excellent pre-construction, Brannon assembles the right team for each project, listens to the client's specific needs, and supplies predictable and reliable estimating, planning, and scheduling to set the entire project up for success. He is dedicated to producing the most comprehensive and cost-effective projects for Abbott’s clients.
A longtime Puget Sound resident, Brannon has had the opportunity to work on projects throughout Washington, Oregon, California, and Texas. His portfolio includes work on a wide variety of project types, including new multi-story facilities, occupied remodels, LEED sustainable projects, design-build, and design-assist projects for a broad range of market sectors. He has provided insight for such notable clients as CenturyLink Field, Glendale Adventist Medical Center, The Everett Clinic, University Washington Medicine | Northwest Hospital, and Swedish Medical Center.
Outside of work, Brannon is involved with The Outreach Program, which brings soccer to developmentally disabled youth in the larger Kitsap area, and he enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and boating on the Sound with his wife and two sons.
Paul Churchill's Bio
As Senior Estimator for Abbott Construction with over ten years of industry experience, Paul is responsible for developing pre-construction estimates and managing the target cost model through construction. He also manages the bidding of select projects, leading value engineering efforts, and participating in constructability reviews.
With a bachelor's degree in Construction Management from the University of Washington, Paul has estimated, planned, bid, and led proposal efforts for over $700 million worth of projects since 2010 in the greater Puget Sound region, Portland, Los Angeles, and Sun Valley, Idaho areas. He has estimated and planned projects in several industry sectors, including inpatient and outpatient healthcare, high-end grocery, retail, warehouse, upscale residential, restaurant, office tenant improvement, and aviation.
When not at Abbott, Paul and his girlfriend enjoy spending time with their energetic Labrador retriever, attending local concerts, and traveling to Kenya and Tanzania.

Jaden Villnow's Bio
As Project Manager, Jaden is responsible for all aspects of the project, from early schematic budgeting support to hands-on project management, execution responsibilities, and effective closeout. Jaden oversees estimating, take-offs, submittal review, cost control measures, subcontracting, strategic planning, forecasting, and leading teams through both design and construction phases.
Jaden's diverse project background includes occupied remodels, shell space tenant improvements, and ground-up new construction. With over ten years at Abbott, Jaden has developed an expertise in retail and grocery projects, serving such notable clients as Whole Foods Market, Metropolitan Market, Starbucks, Kroger, and Total Wine.
When he's not at Abbott, Jaden enjoys spending time with his wife and new son, as well as various active and outdoor hobbies.
Kyle Raschkow's Bio
As Project Executive for Abbott Construction, Kyle has over 20 years of construction industry experience. Kyle is responsible for the overall success of projects, as well as providing assistance in development and design, managing quality of construction, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the entirety of each project.
Prior to joining Abbott, Kyle worked for other well-known Seattle general contracting and owner’s representative firms, managing a variety of project types and sizes. With dual bachelor degrees in Construction Management and Business Administration from Washington State University, Kyle primarily focuses on healthcare green field and renovation projects, serving clients such as MultiCare Health Systems, Providence Health & Services, and Group Health.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys traveling, golfing and rooting on his alma-mater whenever he can.
Larry Lantero's Bio
Throughout his career in the industry, Larry has built an exceptional foundation of experience in complex construction, including OSHPD acute care towers, mid- and high-rise commercial buildings, ground-up public facilities, and occupied remodels. Larry has contributed to a wide variety of projects in several fields of industry, including public works, education, commercial, and healthcare. Reflected in his strong portfolio of design-build and design-assist projects, Larry understands the rigors of occupied campus confinements, including occupant privacy and safety, infection prevention, and disruption mitigation. Larry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Steve Jarvis's Bio
In his 28 years in construction, Steve has been involved in a wide variety of projects, bringing a well-rounded perspective on project management and hands-on constructability. He provides operational direction and oversight to ensure Abbott delivers exceptional service, professionalism, and responsiveness to meet our clients’ needs. Steve is an attentive listener who helps guide team members to be successful and reach their professional ambitions. He is passionate about helping local non-profits including Food Lifeline and Encompass. Steve received his Advanced Diploma in Building Management from Nottingham Trent University.
