Scope Of Work

Powers & Sons provided general contracting services to remodel the existing Chase Bank (Bank One) cafeteria to improve overall performance of the facility. Construction work, including complete demolition of the existing cafeteria, was coordinated so that surrounding banking activities were not disrupted. The project improved the traffic-flow through the facility and replaced the existing food prep equipment with new or redeployed equipment from other Bank One locations. Installation of the state-of-the-art equipment included a brick-fired pizza oven in the kitchen and a new coffee shop. Unique design features incorporated by the architect were serpentine bulkheads and indirect neon lighting.
