Scope Of Work
Expansion of the existing WWTP’s average dry weather flow from 3.0 mgd to 5.4 mgd and to comply with future permit requirements. Major construction included lowering the 66 MGAL Storage Reservoir for the construction of the Reservoir Effluent Pump Station, blasting rock, and bypasses to keep the WWTP operational at all times.
The project also included construction of a New Admin Building, Pre-Engineered Metal Building, and Masonry buildings; Installation of two Seimens Trident Filters; UV Controls & RMSB Bldg, Secondary Effluent Pump Station #2, Digester Control Bldg and EQ Pump Station; Construction of concrete structures, expanded Headworks, Disinfection Splitter Box, Modified Mixed Liquor Flow Split Structure, Algae DAF #2, UV Disinfection Facility, Reservoir Effluent Pump Station, and two new Welded Steel Equalization Tanks. New equipment and piping included a Gas Flare System; Hot Water Boiler and Heat Exchange System; Biofilter FRP ducting and Fan Stations; A complete UV System; pumps, Headworks screening and conveying equipment; Diesel Emergency Generators with ATS’s; Electrical, Controls, SCADA and Instrumentation; new Yard Piping and Electrical Ductbank.
