Scope Of Work
Expansion of the Rio Vista Water Treatment Plant to double capacity. The project included demolition and removal of existing water and sludge pump stations with related piping. Modifications of existing PLC panel at the CLWA Valve Vault #2 at Newhall Ranch Site. Rio Vista Pump Station upgrades and removal and closure of an underground storage tank.
Installations included a new 8,000 gallon above ground fuel storage tank, new raw water pumps, a new 2MW Engine Generator switch gear upgrades, ventilation systems and related work. New ozone generation and feed station, new chlorine storage and feed system building, wash water recovery basin and modifications to existing basins. Construction of a new clarifier and filter building, including 6 new clarifiers and filters. Upgrades to existing chemical storage and delivery systems.
