Brenden Graves's Bio
Brenden’s primary focus is business development and opportunity research. He fosters client engagement by hosting meetings with key industry leaders and positioning DC Building Group as a partner in the land and development process. He is involved with many commercial real estate organizations, community causes and is an active member of NAIOP, DLI, CCIM, SIOR, BOMA, IREM and CREW. Brenden served in the Marine Corps and possesses more than eight years of experience with corporate representation, account management and CRE technology.
Gary Siroky's Bio
Mr. Siroky leads DC Building Group’s business operations, client relations, and strategic planning and implementation. Gary is a Phoenix, AZ native and a University of Arizona graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and majored in Finance and Real Estate. His depth of knowledge in construction, architecture and engineering combined with his geographic knowledge of the Southwestern US will further serve DCBG’s success.
Gary has over 28 years of experience in operational management, accounting, finance, estimating, project procurement, budgeting, reporting, employee development, and client relations. Gary has served in multiple roles throughout his career in all areas of project and corporate operations, including Vice President and President for large, national general contracting firms. Gary has garnered dozens of awards and is a member of many professional organizations that help support and advance the construction profession. Based on his active involvement in charitable, leadership, and trade related organizations, Gary has been influential in the growth of the Las Vegas valley and remains in the forefront of current economic-construction trends.
Personally, Gary is very active with Holy Spirit Catholic Church and supports numerous Catholic outreach programs. He cherishes traveling, spending time with his wife and four children, cooking and competitive fencing. Gary is a passionate leader who recognizes that DC Building Group’s success begins with strong teamwork, “I am inspired by the dedication and hard work of a collaborative group of individuals that collectively pursue extraordinary results to make our community a better place.”
Jim Slack's Bio
Jim’s primary focus is client development and retention for DC Building Group. He generates and maintains client relationships via various activities from networking functions to commercial real estate events. Jim facilitates and organizes industry programs for many local real estate organizations and is an active member of NAIOP, DLI, SIOR, CCIM and CREW. He has a dozen years of experience with corporate representation, account management and client communications.
Kerry Cartmill's Bio
Kerry Cartmill serves as the President for DC Building Group. He is charged with overseeing operations which includes preconstruction, field and project management functions. As part of the leadership team, Cartmill is instrumental in developing the strategy and vision for the award-winning firm as it continues to expand operations throughout the Southwest United States.
In his 30-year career, Cartmill has overseen some of the largest commercial and industrial construction projects in Southern Nevada. His knowledge and expertise of the construction landscape has helped to spur substantial growth and prosperity across the valley.
Shawn Danoski's Bio
Shawn Danoski, Founder and CEO of DC Building Group, directs strategic planning and business development. Shawn is a Las Vegas native and a UNLV graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Shawn’s drive to serve as the most respected General Contractor in Nevada has allowed DCBG to complete over 700 projects. Licensed in eight states across the USA, Shawn has grown the company’s portfolio to include office, medical, industrial, retail, restaurant, religious, non-profit, hospitality, aviation, education and public works.
Under Shawn’s leadership, DC Building Group (DCBG) has garnered 16 Safe Site awards, and was named 2013 Safest Contractor of the Year by the Nevada Contractors Association, 2013 General Contracting Firm of the Year by NAIOP Southern Nevada and 2010 Contractor of the Year by the Associated General Contractors. In 2015, DCBG received The J.A. Tiberti Spirit Award and national recognition by Entrepreneur & INC. Magazines as one of the fastest growing companies in America.
Shawn is a member of many professional organizations, including NAIOP, the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Nevada Contractors Association (NCA), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. Shawn has stayed active with his alma mater by serving on UNLV’s advisory board for Civil and Environmental Engineering Construction (CEEC) and as a board member for the College of Engineering. The Governor of Nevada appointed Shawn to the Nevada State Contractor’s Board/Commission on Construction Education and is the Vice Chair on the City of Las Vegas Board of Appeals.
Personally, Shawn is active with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, serving as a board member for over 15 years. He and his wife, Amber, have two boys, Erik and Alex. The family is active in their church, charity functions, and mission trips. They also travel to Motocross events, where Erik and Alex participate in motorcycle, four wheeler, and kart competitions.

Charlie Stewart's Bio
Mr. Stewart is the Director of Preconstruction Services and a sitting member of the executive leadership team for DC Building Group. As the Director of Preconstruction Services, Charlie is responsible for the leadership and management of the Preconstruction Department, including marketing, preconstruction services, reviewing and overseeing all estimates, estimating the larger and more complex projects, and overseeing all contract negotiations.
He has over 15 years in the construction industry. Originally from the mid-west, Charles grew up immersed in construction industry with a father that was a hands-on master carpenter and registered architect. He would go on to apprentice and become a master tile and stone mason primarily in the large commercial and high end custom residential markets before transitioning into commercial general contracting shortly after moving to Las Vegas in 2003.
Nathan Hutchinson's Bio
