Scope Of Work
The MTA's East Side Access Project is a multi-billion dollar infrastructure project designed to bring Long Island Railroad to Grand Central Station in New York City. Contract CM006 (the Manthattan North Structures Package) involves the installation of permanent structural concrete lining and fit-outs within tunnels, caverns and interior structures. The existing tunnels run from just north of Grand Central Terminal located in Manhattan to Long Island City, Queens. CM006 also includes the rehabilitation of the 63rd Street Tunnel and construction of the 63rd Street Tunnel duct bench.
