Scope Of Work
Kostmayer installed four product mechanical pipes and pipe rack that span 1.5 miles over a wetland area from the storage facility to a marine loading/off-loading facility on the Mississippi River. Three of the pipes required a directional boring installation under an in-service railway and the fourth pipe crossed over the railway via an existing pipe bridge. Kostmayer fabricated “pig traps” onsite for pipe cleaning, valuing, and line purging system. We utilized both X-Ray and Die Pen as non-destructive testing for pipe welds that met standards for the American Petroleum Institute and the completed system was hydrotested and with results recorded in real time.
