Scope Of Work
Boh Bros. Co. reconstructed a heavily used 11.7-mile stretch I-310 from I-10 to U.S. 90 St. Charles Parish. began by patching some 4,900 square yards concrete panels. crew cut panels to full depth, removed existing concrete with a hydraulic hammer, drilled doweled into existing concrete, placed new concrete.
Once patching was , Boh paved 11.7 mile stretch on I-310 with some 17,000 tons hot mix asphalt 1,100 square yards asphalt patching. A majority called for a 2-inch cold plane a 2-inch Level 2F Superpave asphalt overlay (a high friction course which is a state standard), with some 4-inch asphalt paving along center cable barrier at new guardrail .
Boh produced entirety asphalt at its France Road plant leaned on its CMEC- lab to ensure that met specifications. On-, a QC technician ensured that quality was maintained as Boh’s paving crew laid asphalt using a Caterpillar 1055F Series paver, Weiler transfer vehicle, compactors.
