Scope Of Work
Boh Bros. assisted Shintech on its new $1.49 billion chlor alkali vinyl chloride monomer production by driving 6,500, 14-inch-diameter steel pipe piles constructing numerous pipe rack tank foundations. foundations are designed 20 different sizes, ranging from 6- to 20-foot square, from 16 inches to 3.5 feet thick – Boh Bros. crews also installed over 18,000 CY concrete foundations throughout . piles arrived at two pieces were welded together for a total length 130 feet. All piles are filled with concrete, which helps Shintech achieve greater lateral stability for a variety different sized units across its 80-acre . Boh utilized up to 10 driving rigs, completing piling scope in 15 weeks.
