After growing up in a family construction business, Aaron struck out on his own & founded Metcon in 1999, Under Aaron’s leadership, the company has experienced steady growth and is North Carolina’s largest minority-owned construction management firm. In 2011, Metcon was awarded the National Minority Construction firm of the year by the U.S. Dept. of Commerce (MBDA). As President of Metcon, Aaron is responsible for setting and defining the vision and culture of the firm, managing the day-to-day operations, promoting a safe work environment, fostering business opportunities, and maintaining the goals of the organization. He will ensure all necessary resources and systems are available to exceed client expectations delivering a quality product on time and within budget.
Aaron is a results oriented, hands-on administrator, with a proven track record of over 700 successful project completions. Greg Hunt's Bio
Mr. Hunt started utility construction in 1980 on a part time basis while completing high school. After high school, he started working full time in his family’s business on all aspects of heavy construction such as sanitary sewer lines, sewer treatment plants, and sewer pump stations.
His technical expertise covers all parts of gravity sewer construction as well as gravity sewer maintenance. Work experience also covered all aspects of water line construction, to include water treatment plants, water booster pump stations, and water line and system sterilization. He has completed numerous classes on new installation and construction improvements for Highway and Utility construction.
He is certified as a trainer for OSHA trenching and excavation safety standards through Carolinas AGC and NC State University. Greg is responsible for analysis of bid requirements, estimating civil and utility construction, project management of all PU projects, and supervision of all superintendents and project managers under his Division, has completed the Construction Quality Management Course thru the Army Corp of Engineers, Flagging Instructor from Institute for Transportation Research and Education.

Sam Isham's Bio
Sam is a fifth generation craftsman, he was born with a hammer in his hand. He started young on the jobsites with his father, first learning to labor and clean up jobsites, then learned how to read a ruler, eventually received a pencil, power tools, and then supervision authority. He was leading a full crew of craftsman by the age of 17. He continued to work in the field preforming all trades work, to include general trades, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical. At the age of 30 he pursued his Construction Management Degree and was a pillar student, who helped his fellow classmates through leadership, mentoring, and tutoring roles. Along with a proven track record of hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of SCO, CMR, and hard bid projects to his credit; his outstanding management skills, demonstrated leadership and the ability to solve problems through the pre-construction and construction of multimillion dollar projects have all contributed to the success of the company. With over 35 years of construction experience, allows him to foresee and forgo many office and field problems, leading to a no nonsense proactive approach to management. His number one goal in management is a satisfied client.
Sam is responsible for helping the company to achieve financial goals and objectives and increase operating performance. Prepares budgets, creates businesses plans, and solves internal issues as they arise. Deborah Alred's Bio
Deborah brings over 20 years of administrative experience in Office Management and Accounting to Metcon, Inc. Deborah works closely with the CEO and Chairman and handles banking for Metcon. She is responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision and task delegation.
Deborah serves as the secretary at her church and is very active with the youth and elders as she oversees all the social events. She is also heavily involved in Relay for Life.

Jim Boohaker's Bio
Jim has over 28 years in the construction industry with a focus on real estate development. He is seasoned in budget preparation, horizontal land development, project development, turnover and closeout, schedule tracking, etc. He has exceptional communication and collaboration skills and a great value of understanding planning and programming for a multitude of project types. Jim has managed the construction of many mixed-use, retail and residential projects. Mark Floyd serves as the Assistant Vice President & Senior Project Manager. He is a seasoned project executive and construction manager for large projects and programs at Metcon. Rusty Setzer's Bio
With 35 years’ experience and over 1.5 million square feet of completed construction, Rusty offers a wealth of project knowledge and experience to the team. He is well seasoned in developer led projects and his insight plays a critical role with our clients. From design-build and Construction Management to hard bid and negotiated projects, his familiarity with multiple delivery systems combined with a proven track record make him a team leader for successful project delivery. Ryan Parker's Bio
Ryan has over 15 years experience in the construction industry and has provided leadership on Metcon’s flagship projects, such as Sandy Grove Middle School: the first Energy Positive School in the US. Ryan’s responsibilities as a Project Executive include pre-construction services and overall management of projects once started. Using his knowledge of current construction costs and strategies, Ryan works with the pre-construction team in establishing accurate estimates that can be transferred into successful projects. During the construction phase, Ryan manages daily construction services and the entire project management team, allocating project resources to ensure effective management by our field staff, exercising control over the budget and schedule, and ensuring timely and high quality work by all contractors involved. Ryan’s leadership provides the daily team management and the “ heavy lifting” during construction.

Angela began her construction career over 25 years ago working for a large General Contractor in NC. During her tenure there, she learned the business and operations from the ground up, promoted to several positions and responsibilities within the company she created a niche for herself in marketing and business development. She molded the company’s website, branding, all marketing materials, and business development for the firm. In addition, Angela had her own consulting firm for 10 years, providing strategic planning, marketing and business development coaching and services for the A/E/C industry. Donna joined Metcon in 2010 as the Marketing Director. She is responsible for marketing, proposal executions, interview presentation prep, branding and advertising. She manages the company website, intranet and the social media outlets. Donna works closely with Business Development and helps to manage events, sponsorships, career fairs, charitable contributions, etc.
