Scope Of Work
This project consisted of a remodel of existing space that housed the wood and metal industrial arts shops. We demolished the interior and installed new dust collectors, and installed all kinds of new tools including chop saws, lathes, routers, power saws, drill press. We revised the compressed air system, installed a large overhead crane requiring new footings and structural steel support system. We replaced the entire HVAC system and rewired the facility to accept all of the new equipment. We constructed a new 2,400 sq ft greenhouse between two existing buildings with tie in to existing roofing. We constructed a sun deprivation system with automated vents across the roof while being temperature controlled for all climates. Much of this work was done while the school was in session. Subcontractors included site work, masonry, carpentry, structural steel, metal framing and drywall, fire sprinkler system, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. We also installed temperature control for the HVAC as well as a fire alarm system.
