Scope Of Work

The Village of Owego desired to rehabilitate and upgrade their wastewater treatment facility as a result of aging process equipment and chose Schultz Construction to perform this vital work.  Challenges of this project included performing the work with the current wastewater system remaining active and having limited access to the facility due to a main thoroughfare and waterways.  Schultz’s work included a complete rehabilitation of two existing oxidation ditches, a new masonry headworks building, new headworks equipment, a new masonry blower building, new concrete walkways and handrails, all necessary excavation and backfill, new aeration equipment and blower piping, new RAS & WAS pumps, all necessary piping, and integration of all electrical systems.
