Aaron Docsa's Bio

As Vice President, Aaron Docsa oversees all items related to construction operations including staffing assignments, project plan development and cost and schedule analysis. He also focuses on client development, internal and external relationships with subcontractors, design professionals and business partners. Centrally based in Dallas, he also supports all of Moss’ regional offices across the country.
With more than 27 years of experience, Aaron brings a wealth of knowledge to every project due to his hands-on experience in a wide variety of roles including field engineer, project engineer, quality control director, superintendent, project manager, vice president and senior vice president. During the course of his career he has been involved in the construction of multi-family apartments, mixed-use projects and military housing all over the country. Additionally, prior to joining Moss, he specialized in Public Private Partnership (PPP) student housing as a SVP of design and construction.
Aaron earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction from Arizona State University.

Andrew, Co-President of South Florida, oversees and manages major construction projects as well as the pursuit of new opportunities. His major focus is in the hospitality sector. His ability to conceptualize, plan and communicate complex strategies ensures that each project delivery delights the owner. This approach has resulted in numerous long-term repeat clients.
Andrew acquired an appreciation for architecture and the “built” environment at an early age. As the son of an Army chaplain who had a passion for history and travel, he witnessed a great building boom while living in Berlin in the late 1980s. The family’s travels exposed him to the classical architecture of France and the ancient ruins of Rome. While studying architecture in college, Andrew found his greater passion lay in construction.
Andrew graduated in 1993 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Design in Architecture. He subsequently worked as an assistant professor within the university’s M.E. Rinker, Sr., School of Construction Management, while earning his Masters of Science in Building Construction in 1994. Andrew is a certified general contractor and qualifier for Moss.

In 2004, Bob Moss founded Moss & Associates with two projects and two employees. Today, Moss is a privately held construction firm providing innovative solutions resulting in award-winning projects across the United States with more than 600 professional employees.
Bob built his successful career during the past 49 years with experience in a diverse portfolio of construction projects spanning North America. This portfolio includes transportation projects, healthcare facilities, military and space research projects, retail, universities and higher education, correctional facilities, sports facilities, solar construction, island construction, residential multi-family units, senior housing facilities and convention centers. Some of his hallmark projects include Marlins Park and Nova Southeastern University’s Guy Harvey Oceanographic Center. Bob was also central to the teams that constructed 10 Walt Disney World resorts which included approximately 22,000 rooms; 16 Bass Pro Shops/Outdoor World projects; the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota; Atlantis Paradise Island and Our Lucaya in the Bahamas. Bob’s experience continues with iconic projects such as Brightline Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach stations, Margaritaville Vacation Club by Wyndham in St. Thomas, USVI, Auburge residences in Fort Lauderdale, Florida International University’s Wellness and Recreation Center, ICON Las Olas and the BB&T Center.
Bob serves on the Governor’s Florida Council of 100, World President Organization, the Chief Executive Organization, and he is the Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors of Watsco, a $7 Billion NYSE Company.
He has been honored by his peers and the community: Nova Southeastern University’s Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame Inductee, University of Florida Construction Hall of Fame, Clemson Construction Hall of Fame, Broward Workshop’s Top 102 CEOs. In 2011, he was the recipient of the South Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America’s Distinguished Citizen Award, and he was recognized as the Humanitarian of the Year by the EASE Foundation in 2012.

His portfolio includes, international airports, resorts, transportation and solar utility fields.

Brett is the President of the South Florida Business unit, which has grown exponentially over the past decade. He also serves as a member of the Executive Team that directs the overall strategy for Moss, and supports Moss’ four geographic regions– South Florida, Mid-Florida, Dallas and Hawaii as well as the company’s two national markets in solar and wood frame construction.
Atkinson is best known for his optimistic outlook and positive leadership style. He fosters a team culture through his keen ability to see the whole picture and place everyone in a position where they can maximize their strengths and leverage them for the benefit of the professional growth.
Brett is a Florida native, born and raised in South Florida with a construction degree from the University of Florida. He is active in many professional and community organizations: he is a Past Chair of Associated Builders and Contractors Florida East Coast Chapter and currently serves on its Board of Directors; is on the Executive Committee for the University of Florida Construction School; and is a member of Broward Workshop.

As Vice President and Project Executive, Brian’s primary responsibility is to oversee all items related to construction operations including business development, staffing assignments, project plan development, cost and schedule analysis, as well as owner and subcontractor negotiations. Brian is also involved with all project phases from pre-construction to construction and project close-out.
He brings more than 24 years of experience to his role and has project management experience in a variety of sectors including residential, education, mixed-use. Brian was one of the early adopters to start his career in the field. With the desire to learn and willingness to work hard, Brian quickly found himself leading large complex projects as a General Superintendent. Curious to take on more, Brian most recently took his field acumen and transitioned into the role of a Project Executive.
Brian has worked on many assignments in Florida and Georgia and has established relationships with various governing agencies and subcontractors. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.

With his solutions-oriented approach, Bruce leads Moss’ legal and risk management efforts and plays an integral role in the organization’s international and strategic initiatives.
Bruce earned a Juris Doctor degree with honors from Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.S. in accounting from the University of Maryland. He is a certified public accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the District of Columbia Bar and the Maryland State Bar Association, and an Authorized House Counsel with the Florida bar. Chad Moss is the Chief Executive Officer of Moss Family Office (MFO) Worldwide, a Family Asset Acquisitions Management Company. With 25 years of executive leadership and construction management experience, Chad is responsible for implementing the strategic vision of MFO. Currently MFO is comprised of several entities, which include Moss & Associates, Targa 1 LLC, NXS Crypto Fund and the Moss Foundation.
Targa 1 LLC is MFO’s real estate investment management firm that currently provides equity in workforce housing development projects, specifically focusing on growing markets in Florida and Texas. NXS Crypto Fund is a digital asset investing and management firm for accredited investors seeking exposure in the cryptocurrency market. The Moss Foundation, which is dedicated to assisting non-profit organizations and communities throughout Florida and Texas, prides itself in giving back to the community and enhancing the surrounding areas. Chris, Vice President, is a construction management veteran of over three decades. Edwin, President of Moss Solar, is responsible for the day-to-day operations and long-range planning of this expanding business unit. He specifically oversees all strategic planning, development, preconstruction, management and completion of utility scale solar projects throughout North America and the Caribbean, and has played an instrumental role in the growth of Moss’ solar portfolio.
Edwin has worked in the construction and engineering industry for more than fourteen years and has an array of experience including solar energy, high-rise residential, garages, retail, and major sports facilities.
He joined Moss in 2007, as a Project Engineer and later was promoted to the Community Relations Manager and Virtual Construction Coordinator for the construction of the Marlins Ballpark in Miami. In 2012, he was asked to spearhead the company’s entry into the solar market. As Director of Solar Initiatives, he brought innovative construction solutions to the table that helped drive-down the cost of building utility-scale solar projects. Over the next few years Moss grew into one of the largest solar contractors in the country. He was named Vice President of Solar in 2017, Senior Vice President of Solar in July 2020, and President of Solar in November 2020.
Edwin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He also earned a Master of Science in Construction Management and Bachelor of Design in Architecture, both from the University of Florida. Edwin is a member of the Florida chapter of YPO, a LEED® AP and also a certified general contractor in South Carolina, North Carolina and Arkansas.

As the Chief Human Resources Officer for Moss, Enrique Coello fosters human capital across the organization. As a key executive partner and coach, his role requires a daily commitment to cross-cultural team member communication, engagement and development, which he finds to be as inspiring as it is challenging. “Though career aspirations may differ, people are united by similar dreams and common needs. Enrique has worked in human resources for more than two decades. Prior to joining Moss, Enrique was the Vice President of Team Member Experience at Stericycle, Inc., the leading global medical waste, document destruction, compliance solution and sustainability services company. During his tenure at Stericycle, Inc., he strategically directed the global employee experience functions for 15,000 employees in 15 countries, comprised of talent acquisition, talent management, learning/development, culture, engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion. In addition, Enrique was appointed Stericycle’s Global Business Process Owner for the global implementation of SAP’s SuccessFactors in 20 countries. Previously, Enrique was the Director of Human Resources Americas for ECU Worldwide, one of the largest international cargo consolidators in the Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) industry with global coverage, where he had direct oversight of all human resources functions impacting more than 1,000 employees across 35 offices in the U.S., Canada and 14 countries in Latin America.
Originally from Venezuela, Enrique has a B.S. in Business Administration from Carroll University and graduate-level HR Management certifications from the University of Miami and Cornell University. Construction is in Scott’s DNA. He grew up around jobsites and started working in the field when he turned 17. His first job as laborer on a concrete forming crew gave Scott a healthy respect for the hard work and dedication required to be successful in construction. He studied the industry in college, and after graduating he worked his way up from project engineer to project manager.
In 2004, Scott and his father, Bob, started Moss. Together they created the company’s first winning presentation and managed the company’s first project. Today, Moss employs over 750 people across the US with revenue exceeding $1.8 Billion.
Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida and is a Certified General Contractor. He is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) and has been an active participant in the Harvard Business School Presidents’ Program for the past five years. Scott is also an advisory Board Member of Urban Land Institute’s Southeast Florida/Caribbean Chapter and is a member of the Construction Industry Network. Previously, Scott served as the Chairman of Associated Builders and Contractors – Florida East Coast Chapter.

Tom Philley, Executive Vice President of Construction, oversees construction throughout the United States mainland. Beginning his career immediately after graduation from college, he started as a field engineer. Tom rose through the ranks, honing his skills and specializing in military housing. Today he continues to work with the military, government authorities and public-private partnerships, building housing and ancillary facilities. Tom has also worked with private developers building mid to high rise multifamily housing, retail shopping centers, as well as public universities.
Tom attended Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor in Civil Construction.
