Our Story
Welcome to Cavalieri Construction Company, Inc.
We are a family owned and operated Union construction company located in Wilmington MA (formerly of Everett MA).
Established in 1979 by Jim Cavalieri Jr., more commonly known as "Sr.", and his wife Linda with a specialization in Masonry construction and restoration. In the early 2000's, Sr's son, Jim Cavalieri III, more commonly known as "Jr", launched our site work division. Over the years, we redirected our business toward specialization in site work, excavation and utility installation. Currently, we perform large scale commercial site work scopes, including site clearing and excavation, utility install/repair (including sewer, water, drain and electrical conduit), concrete work, foundations, bituminous pavement install and T&D of soils.
We have a new office located in Wilmington, but our work area covers I-495 belt and east. Majority of our operations are within the city of Boston. We excel at tight site digging and safely digging in busy city streets. Our extensive range of excavation equipment includes large to mini size excavators, backhoes, loaders and skid steers, giving us capabilities to perform large open site excavations as well as harder interior trenching work. Our growing fleet of trucks includes 6 wheeler, 10 wheeler, tri-axle and trailer dump trucks.
Although we do work directly for owners on occasion, we mainly are a subcontractor for many of the big general contractors in Boston. Some of our clients include Shawmut Design & Construction, AECOM Tishman, Suffolk Construction Company, Timberline Construction Corp., and Dagle Electrical Construction Corp.
