Our Story
Nunzio grew up in Italy where his father was the town carpenter. In
those days, that meant he handled all woodworking including coffin
fabrication for funerals. Nunzio’s brothers in Italy carried on the
business, eventually specializing to coffin fabrication on a large
scale. Nunzio, alternatively, moved to the United States at the age of
23 and started his own business: Nunzio's Cabinet Shop.
He brought with him a formidable background in woodworking
along with a European eye for design and detail. Nunzio's Cabinet Shop
has been in business for over 35 years. From humble beginnings, he has
grown a single man operation into a high volume cabinet shop. Carrying
on the tradition, his three sons learned the trade and work alongside
him, continuing and improving on the generations-old skill base taught
to them by Nunzio, who in turn was taught by his father.
