Scope Of Work
This ground-up project for LBC is part of a larger joint venture with Magellan to expand storage by twenty crude tanks, a new ship dock, and two new barge docks.
GSD created a ground-up metal office to house new operators and the Motor Control Center. The MCC is the electrical brains of the plant, so part of the interior required considerable IT and electrical needs.
While the scope of the build was straightforward, the security requirements presented a new job site element. Being a MARSEC Level 1 & 2 facility, LBC required additional permitting, identification, and a required safety course for all contractors and workers visiting the job site.
