Scope Of Work
Scheibel Construction served as the Construction Manager of this project. The project consists of two hotels within one structure containing 235 guest rooms. The hotel is nine stories high including one level of underground parking. This is a concrete structure with upper decks being post-tension. There is additional parking located on the 2nd floor garage deck. The 2nd floor is a common area to be shared between the hotels consisting of meeting rooms, work out room, and indoor pool/spa area.
The main vehicle entrance will be off New York Avenue with the drive aisle splitting the two lobby entrances. The building exterior consists of structural metal stud, insulation, vapor barrier and rain screen. This LEED Silver hotel project is within walking distance of the NoMa Gallaudet metro station and a short car ride from downtown DC or Chinatown.
