Scope Of Work

Developed by Forest City Ratner Companies (FCRC), Ridge Hill in Yonkers, NY, is a dynamic and diverse mixed-use project, featuring some 1.3 million square feet of retail space, including shopping, restaurants and entertainment. It also includes about 160,000 square feet of office and research facilities, as well as a hotel and conference center. Ridge Hill’s residential component is comprised of 1,000 apartments, of which 200 are for active adults ages 55+ and 135 affordable units.

Tectonic provided Special Inspections & Materials Testing services for all facets of construction, including soils subgrade inspections, soils fill placement & compaction testing, steel reinforcing inspections, concrete testing & sampling, masonry inspections, structural steel welding & bolting inspections, fireproofing inspections, firestopping inspections, site utilities inspections and testing, floor flatness testing, and cold formed framing inspections
