Crew2® Inc., formerly Pro Floor, Inc., was founded in 1986 as a family-owned business specializing in the installation of flooring products.  Doug and Perry Firkus, entrepreneurial cousins, learned all aspects of the flooring-installation trade through their hard work as installers for many years. They organized their company to provide services to a variety of clients in the Twin Cities area (Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota).

During the following ten years the business grew, and starting in 1997 it expanded into 13 states in the Upper Midwest.  With a broad view of installation services, we became a general contractor to retain and grow the flooring business, and we added non-flooring products such as doors, kitchens, baths, window treatments, and water heaters. 

Crew2 has accumulated over 10 years experience in the management of multiple programs for a national player in retail home-improvement stores.  

Crew2 prides itself on delivering top-notch quality installation services—knowing that customers have several competitors to choose from.  We set high standards for our team members, and our customers have come to expect excellent communications and superior installers. Therefore, we can offer an unprecedented five-year labor warranty. 

Our growth over the years has included a 54,000 square foot facility built in 2003 for the Minneapolis headquarters.  We remain a family-owned business.  Denise Firkus joined the company in 2003, bringing with her years of corporate operational and customer service experience.  Steve Firkus also joined the company that year, and he brought his strong financial and sales experience from the corporate world.  With this combined business expertise and family dedication, our business has grown and prospered.
