05400-Cold Formed Metal Framing

• Warehouse / Office dividing partition to be 3 5/8” 25ga metal 10aff
• Office partitions to be 3 5/8” 25ga metal 9aff under acoustical ceilings
• Bathroom partitions to be 3 5/8” 25ga metal to 10aff
• Perimeter wall furring to be 1 5/8” 25ga to 10aff

• R-11 Unfaced fiberglass batts in warehouse / office dividing wall and bathroom walls only
• No insulation in office partitions
• R-19 Unfaced batts above new acoustical ceilings only

• Framing for office partitions is 25 gage typical
• Drywall and finishing (level 4 typical, level 1 at concealed)
• 5/8” Standard drywall at all areas
• Beads and trims as required
• Sound caulk as required
• Installation of hollow metal door frames (provided by owner) into drywall partitions

• Standard Armstrong Prelude 15/16^th 2 x 4 grid system as per EGP Standard Specifications
• 2 x 4 Fine Fissured Flat Lay in Tile # 1729 as per EGP Standard Specifications
• Armstrong # 1729 – NRC .55 – CAC 35
• R19 Unfaced batts above new acoustical ceiling

• Warehouse / Office dividing partition changed to 6” 18ga to 32aff
• Safing and firecaulk at head of wall per UL requirements
• Potential office walls to grid per EGP standard finishes
