Scope Of Work

The apparatus bay is the most crucial floor to any fire house.  Creating texture for slip resistance while producing a maintainable surface is hard to achieve.   This floor utilized two different flooring systems.  A combination of 100% solids epoxy and broadcast silica sand was installed and topcoat with Safety Red and Black Epoxy to create vehicle parking.  Colored quartz was utilized along the border and inside all maintenance rooms surrounding the apparatus bay.   The entire floor was coated with a urethane topcoat for added chemical, UV, and abrasion resistance.   The end product resulted in a multifunctional, durable, and appealing surface suited for all needs of a fire station.
