St. Lucie Medical Center is located in Port St.Lucie, Florida and is a 194 bed, acute care facility. Since 1983, they have continually provided quality care tothousands of their neighbors along the Treasure Coast. The combined efforts of more than 250 skilled physicians and more than 700 dedicated employees have resulted in one of the most comprehensive healthcare facilities serving the Treasure Coast. St. Lucie Medical Center is dedicated in being the premier provider of healthcare services. William R. Nash, Inc. began working at St. Lucie Medical Center in June of 2008. This job was completed in May of 2009. The project consisted of constructing thirtyfive patient rooms, two orthopedic operation rooms along with recovery and sterile storage rooms. Part of the project also included modernizing the Central Energy Plant, adding Direct Digital Controls, installing two Steam to Water Heaters and an A 5 Plex Domestic Water Booster Pump along with a 4000 gallon UG Domestic Water storage tank. Since this is an operating hospital, during the time of the project, all areas of the St. Lucie Medical Center needed to continue to remain fully functional while the new construction was being performed. The staffing of this project included Floyd Foster as the Project Manager, Dave Walton as the Assistant Project Manager, Russell Stiriz as the Project Superintendent and the General Contractor was Arellano.
