Stanford Construction, Inc. has added the National Association of Home Builders Pillar Award to its list of accomplishments. The Avery on Southwestern, which Stanford completed in mid-2010, was awarded the 2010 Pillar Award for Best Garden Apartment Community (4 stories & under).

Ted Egerton, Stanford's President / CEO, believes The Avery on Southwestern won the award for its "combination of exterior materials, colors used, and an attractive pool area." Unique materials, such as metal panels and stained hardie siding to look like real wood, were used to enhance the urban look.
