Chris Hayward's Bio
Chris Hayward is the newest partner at Wright & Co. He has an extensive background in construction and while at Wright & Co. has been instrumental in managing the success of many of our largest projects, from positions both in the office and in the field. He currently works as a Project Manager and is also our Safety Officer, ensuring that our safety record continues to set the standard for construction companies on the East End.
Julie Hatfield's Bio
Julie Hatfield is co-President of Wright & Company Construction. Julie applies her decades of experience as a senior project manager toward realizing the goals of each of our clients. She has a strong appreciation for integrity of design, having graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Design with a MArch and has worked at Stelle Architects before joining Wright & Co.
Julie has managed many of our largest and most complex projects, partnering with clients, architects and designers to thread their projects through the often competing demands of schedule, budget and the intricacy of high-end custom design—always striving to do the very best for the team, our clients and our employees.
Julie is also very active in the community, having served on a number of boards in her hometown of Sag Harbor and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Retreat. Her strong values and work ethic make her a role model for friends, home family and work family.
Kenneth Wright's Bio
Ken Wright is founder and co-President of Wright & Co., where he has for over 35 years assisted clients, designers and architects in bringing their visions to life.
Ken was born and grew up in Southampton. He graduated from Columbia College in New York City, and soon after took an interest in building. While improving his construction skills working locally, then in San Francisco and New York, he moved back home in 1983 to found what is today Wright & Company Construction. It was, at its start, a company of five employees and over the years Ken has grown the company to its current size of 110 employees. His goal has been consistent from the start; to build a company that would keep paramount the needs of its clients while at the same time providing a safe and respectful working environment for its employees. He loves his work!
Ken has also been a driving force behind many local charitable organizations. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Southampton Hospital Association and has previously served on the boards of the Parrish Art Museum and the Southampton Day Care Center.
Bike, hike, sail, ski, squash, golf; Ken is a true adventurist: inspiring and inviting all to join him in his appreciation of life.
Patrick Gregor's Bio
Pat Gregor is a site supervisor and is field partner-in-charge of half of the ongoing projects. Pat has a background in mechanical engineering and lifelong interests in carpentry, wood working and fashioning the fastest possible race cars. Pat excels in managing large and complex construction projects and attends to their details with a gimlet eye.
Philip Alford's Bio
Phil Alford Is a Site Supervisor and Is Field Partner-In-Charge of Half of The Ongoing Projects. for The Past Twenty Years, Phil Has Demonstrated the Ability to Handle with Aplomb the Manifold Stipulations Specified by Clients, Architects and Engineers While Simultaneously Orchestrating Jobsites that Have, at Times, Been the Workplace of More than 250 Craftsmen and Tradespeople.
Stephen Howard's Bio
Steve Howard Is the Senior-Most Partner at Wright & Co. and As One of The Original Employees Has Been Part of The Company for Over 30 Years. Steve Has Taken on Almost Every Role in The Organization During His Tenure Including Laborer, Senior Project Manager, It Guru, Chief Estimator and Treasurer, and He Has Been a Mentor to Everyone Who Has Ever Worked in Our Office. Ken Wright Credits Him with Setting the High Standards that Are Followed Within Our Project Management Department and Helping Us All Learn how To Communicate Clearly. He Balances This with One of The Driest Senses of Humor that Has Us All Laughing at Unexpected Moments.
Steve’s Diverse Talents Are Reflected in His History and Outside Interests. Having Graduated as An English Major from Vassar College, Steve Served in The Peace Corps in Nepal and Worked as A Derrick Hand in The Oil Fields in Wyoming, Before Joining Wright & Co. and Raising His Family in East Hampton. Steve Is Involved in Prison Reform Programs and Is a Strong Supporter of The Osborne Association, Which Seeks to Transform the Lives of Those Who Have Come Into Conflict with The Law and To Serve the Community by Reducing Crime and Its Human and Economic Costs.

Susan Boscarino's Bio
Susan Boscarino is a senior project manager. Susan earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in structural engineering at Cornell University, subsequently starting her career as an engineer with Silman in NYC. She brings experience as a project manager for urban institutional renovations to her current work at Wright & Co., where she has successfully brought to completion homes both traditional and modern, adding value to the process by means of accurate planning, precise budgets and a clear visualization of the finished product.
