Scope Of Work
When it came time to renovate Cunz Hall on the campus of The Ohio State University, TP Mechanical was proud to work with Ruscilli Construction on the $24.4 million project. The HVAC and Plumbing portions of the contract on this home to the University's College of Public Health involved a complete overhaul of the systems, including hydronic service for steam, chilled water, hot water and refrigeration piping. The plumbing installation included cold and hot water, lab water, lab air and storm and sanitary systems. TP Mechanical's fabrication team supplied exhaust and return air ductwork.
The building, originally constructed in 1968, became the first renovation project on the campus to be LEED certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. The constrcution team recycled waste materials during renovation and the design incorporated ongoing energy-efficient features into the new systems.
