Scope Of Work
This research and office building is a three-level, structural steel building consisting of about 55,000sf of administrative office space and 35,000sf of research space. The new laboratory and office spaces are specifically designed for employees and personnel investigating new medical technologies. The lobby, multiple offices, and several large and small meeting areas are architecturally highlighted with local woods and stone. The laboratory space built in this facility accommodates various chemistry, pharmacology, and molecular biology research areas. The building also features an animal vivarium, an arachnid nursery, and venom milking spaces with associated support areas. The facility was completed on a fast-track schedule of 11 months.
