Penn Ohio has been in business since 1968 and has a reputation as an industrial, commercial, institutional and service electrical contractor capable of handling all sizes of electrical customers. Penn Ohio prides itself on being able to handle some of the most complicated, challenging or fast paced projects in the 90 mile radius around Brookfield Ohio. Penn Ohio Electric has an Engineering Department capable of doing almost any type of Electrical Engineering design build projects. Penn Ohio currently does approximately 75% to 85% of its work based on low bid public competitive bidding. These projects include schools, offices, prisons, water and wastewater treatment plants, nursing homes and various public buildings. Penn Ohio also does private bid or negotiated work for industrial, retail, commercial or institutional clients as well as a select group of general contractors. Penn Ohio also has a Service division that handles small service calls from new and repeat customers.

Penn Ohio Electric has a philosophy that the customer wants the best price but also wants a high level of experience, knowledge and service. Penn Ohio tries to give every customer the best possible job and expects it will be rewarded with prompt payment and repeat business.

The company is capable of all types of electrical installations and service work. Past projects include schools, churches, restaurants, fast food stores, nursing homes, airport lighting, wastewater treatment plants, banks, retail stores, big box stores, industrial plants, plastic plants, food and beverage processing plants, military buildings, state, local and federal buildings, institutional installations and most imaginable service work.

Penn Ohio Electric works well with and has done work for almost all of the local established general contractors.

Penn Ohio Electric’s geographic range is basically a 90 mile radius around its home base in Brookfield Township, Ohio. The demographic area is north to Lake Erie and Lake County to Akron on the West and South to the North suburbs of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and Boardman Ohio and to the east as far as Clarion Pennsylvania.

Penn Ohio Electric employs union electricians from 2 main locals – 573 and 712. Occasionally Penn Ohio electric will cross into neighboring locals 5, 64, 673 and a few others.
