Scope Of Work

Summit is providing Civil Engineering, Architectural Design, Structural Design, and Construction Administration services for a 7,350 SF Liquor Store (4,275 SF Sales Floor) where The balance of space is for Warehouse and Office functions. This retail store is being designed in a prominent location between I-85 and I-40 on a major thoroughfare. Some of the design features of this project include transparency at the front entry with clerestory windows to incorporate natural lighting, a pronounced entry feature delineating the main entry to the sales floor, a modern look that is reminiscent of mountain architecture, and a curved roof. The roof splays out on Oakdale Drive side and serves three purposes: prominent design element that highlights structural design capabilities, solar shade for the upper storefront, and weather protection for pedestrian traffic.
