Our Story
Barton Malow established a Maryland office in 1989 and has been providing innovative construction building solutions in the area ever since. One of our first projects in Baltimore was Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which set the standard for new ballparks that followed. For over two decades we have offered Construction Management, Program Management, and Design/Build services to our valued clients in the K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Sports and Federal markets.
Our personnel in Baltimore office have had the privilege of managing the construction of several notable projects in this region, including Beaver Stadium’s Expansion and Renovation at Penn State University, M&T Bank Stadium (Ravens Stadium), University of Maryland, Baltimore Dental School and Western Maryland Health System’s Hospital Consolidation.
In addition to providing our clients with high quality construction services and working with the utmost integrity, we also take pride in being leaders in technology and being committed to the local community. In 2010, Barton Malow won a FIATECH CETI Award for Technology and Knowledge-enabled Workforce at Maryland General Hospital. This award is presented to companies whose technology implementations clearly demonstrate significant results and benefits to the project. Also in 2010, over 70% of the work associated with fit-out construction of our Baltimore office was subcontracted to local minority and women owned contractors.
