As Vice President of North Coast Construction Co., Cory Reed is experienced in all aspects of construction. Reed has over 30 years experience in the construction business in the Southeastern United States. This experience includes the ability to direct a team of supervisors for project controls, quality assurance, craft supervision, material expediting and all other project administration. This includes planning, scheduling, health and safety programs and purchase agreement administration for various types of commercial buildings. The commercial buildings include fast food restaurants, full-service restaurants, banking facilities, strip mall centers, gas stations, convenience stores and other light industrial buildings.
Cory is responsible for overseeing pre-construction and construction of jobs from bid/estimate phase to final completion. He has considerable experience in managing multiple projects efficiently and on time. This includes working with architects, engineers, various county or city building department officials, construction managers and owners of various projects, as well as hands on field supervision at the job sites of superintendents, sub contractors, suppliers and vendors.
Cory coordinates the project side with the office side by creating contracts for the owner companies, and subcontractors, approving project draws, changing orders and invoices with a goal of keeping job costs in line with estimates while producing a safe, successful and attractive project.
