Scope Of Work
The BB&T Ballpark is a Triple-A baseball stadium, home to the Charlotte Knights, and located near downtown Charlotte, NC. With the stadium being located near downtown, it was important to ensure coordination of the deliveries throughout the construction process. The lower bowl seating was formed in place concrete, with the suite level seating being concrete on metal deck supported by cantilevered steel framing. The tapered roof feature was created using cantilevered, tapered steel beams. The exposed structural elements were shop primed with a universal primer, and finish painted in the field.
