Scope Of Work

This facility was LG’s first manufacturing facility in North America and had an extremely fast paced schedule, which went from conceptual design drawings to a complete and operational manufacturing facility in less than a year.  SteelFab was engaged in a design-assist role, and worked closely with the engineer of record to take conceptual design drawings to installation drawings within a matter of weeks.  The structure consisted of joist framed roof and a mezzanine level over roughly 80% of the building footprint, hundreds of feet of crane runway beams, several out-buildings, and two 220’ clear-span steel framed utility bridges.  The project had a complicated logistics and turn-over plan that allowed LG’s manufacturing equipment installers to work in the facility while it was still under construction.
