The story of Dickerson Hearth and Patio begins in 2004, when John Dickerson decided he wanted to start a family business.  He and his son, Hill, began the process of selling and installing fireplaces for contractors in the Greater Triangle area.  The two of them sold thousands of fireplaces out of a small warehouse in North Raleigh.

As the business grew, the Dickerson family never lost sight of their biggest assets…their employees and their customers.  Their dedication to diversify and grow the business led them into the retail market, which included building a brand new showroom and opening the doors to the public.  Some of the products offered include fireplaces, wood stoves, gas and wood-burning inserts, complete outdoor kitchens, gas grills, and fire pits…..all the fun stuff you find in a home!
