Volpatt Construction was established in 1991. From our first project at the University of Pittsburgh to over 500 commercial, industrial and institutional projects, we have successfully positioned ourselves as one of the most respected building contractors in the Tri-State Area.

With a focus on high quality, hands on service, competitive pricing and timely project completion, we have built a long list of repeat clients which includes some of the area's most prestigious businesses and institutions. 

Our founder Raymond A. Volpatt comes from over 50 years of experience working as an executive for two of Western Pennsylvania's largest contractors and has been involved in projects across the nation valuing over $100 Million. 

Mr. Volpatt developed a business model which assures that every client and every project gets personal attention from corporate ownership. We believe it is important that a client know they can contact us should the need arise.

Our staff includes the Region's finest Project Managers and Superintendents who have experience in all areas of construction on projects ranging from $50,000 to $50 Million. They have all been trained in Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) and many have experience on LEED certified or sustainable construction projects. 

Our commitment to excellence and quality construction has been recognized on many occasions with nominations for the Master Builders of Western Pennsylvania's Building Excellence Award, three of which were winners in their respective category. The St. Paul Cathedral - Restoration and ADA Addition project won the award for Renovation Under $10 Million, the University of Pittsburgh Benedum Hall project won the award for Renovation Over $10 Million, and the Shadyside Presbyterian Church project won the award for Excellence in Craftsmanship.

We have an exemplary safety record which includes an experience modification rate well below industry standard.

And most notably, during a time when the court system is commonly called upon to settle disputes, we continue to work in harmony with all of our clients, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve differences and deliver successful projects. We are proud to say that Volpatt Construction has never been involved in litigation, arbitration or mediation.
