Scope Of Work

In 2016, Volpatt Construction was hired by the Diocese of Greensburg to perform extensive interior renovation of the entire church space in order to transform the ‘modernist’ renovations of the 60s back to a historically significant appearance the reestablishes the original architectural integrity of the building. The unique project involved strong collaborative effort with five construction entities and the design professionals. As the lead contractor, Volpatt scheduled and provided daily coordination for the other prime contractors, while reconstruction altar platform over the original wood floors. The scope of work consisted of demolition, concrete for a new altar, field painting, new lighting and controls, an ADA accessible Reconciliation Room, and updates to the restrooms for ADA accessibility.
