Bob embarked on a career in construction due to his lifelong passion
for architecture and a keen eye for buildings. He recalls watching
the development of Red Gate Road in Cumberland through the window of
his childhood home as they bulldozed and constructed the street.
Bob's Aunt Irene taught art and mechanical drawing at Cumberland High
School, and ignited his love of blending the artistic and the
technical. His father, Frank Geddes, instilled in him a relentless
work ethic and the understanding that there is always time to do a job
right the first time. Bob is a graduate of Northeastern University
with a degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Construction
Management. Prior to founding his own construction company in 1985,
Bob performed project management for Mobil Oil Corporation. He has
held his Contractor Supervisor License in Massachusetts since 1981 and
in Rhode Island since 1985. He is proud to say that many clients have
become friends. Bob lives in Cumberland with his wife, where they
raised their three children.
