Scope Of Work
Jacob & Hefner Associates, Inc. (JHA) was contracted to complete a detailed asbestos inspection design and oversight prior to a planned demolition at an old factory building in Arlington Heights. The work included conducting an asbestos inspection, developing technical specifications, and detailing asbestos abatement procedures in accordance with all applicable regulations. The design also included a detailed scope of work and AutoCAD drawings showing work locations, worker decontamination stations, waste out locations and negative air exhaust locations. JHA procured competitive bids for the , reviewed bids and recommended to the qualified bidder. JHA conducted all asbestos abatement oversight and recordkeeping for this project as well. All work was completed on time and on budget. JHA completed final asbestos abatement summary reports and sent all applicable reports and paper work to , state, and federal agencies.
