Fast-Paced Methodist Hospital Project on Track to be First Acute Care Facility in Midlothian, Texas
Methodist Health System opened the first acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas in Fall 2020. DPR delivered the 180,000-sq.-ft., five-story, 44-bed hospital, as well as a two-story, 45,000-sq.-ft. professional office building and associated site work on a highly accelerated, 20-month construction schedule.
Set on a 65-acre greenfield site, Methodist Hospital in Midlothian will employ approximately 300 medical professionals and support staff within the first year. It represents the 11th hospital in the Methodist Health system.
