Scope Of Work

WithersRavenel provided an in-depth evaluation of Chatham County’s Bynum Wastewater Treatment Plant, a 25,000 GPD package facility serving a small mill community, a local restaurant, and an elementary school. The facility was experiencing operational problems from flow surges to the wastewater treatment plant and long detention times in the force main discharge from the school. Our recommendations included improvements to the existing lime feed system, addition of an equalization basin, more stringent grease trap inspections, renovations to the existing blower and aeration piping, and improvements to the disinfection system.
